Building a Trusted Relationship

After several discussions and meetings, JPM entered into a full service relationship with a commercial construction business. Prior to working with JPM, the client used an accounting firm that helped them prepare their taxes at year end.

One of the key differences between the prior relationship and the relationship developed with JPM was the implementation of regularly scheduled monthly meetings. As part of these regularly scheduled meetings, JPM toured the client’s facility, met with ownership at their offices and implemented a financial performance and strategic planning component as part of the meetings.

By gaining an in depth understanding of the client’s business and a better understanding what was coming in the future, JPM became one if its most trusted advisors. Through The JPM Process™ , and as a result of the client’s profitability levels, JPM was able to help implement three tax planning strategies that saved well over $250,000 annually in each of the last five years. In addition to these tax savings, by understanding the upcoming initiatives it its business, JPM also helped secure the Ohio Bureau of Works Compensation grants totaling $40,000 for new equipment to help improve the client’s work place safety.

A deep personal and trusted relationship has been established between the client and JPM. So much so that the client has been instrumental in referring new business relationships to JPM and also helped JPM secure our corporate headquarters in downtown Springfield.
